🏋️ Wadapalooza Comes To Miami Beach

Elite athletes from around the globe are descending on Miami Beach for an epic 4-day fitness festival from January 23-26, 2025. Watch as world-class competitors push their limits in CrossFit-style events, showcasing years of dedication and training.

The festival features three exciting components:Join the fitness community to either spectate, or to just have fun in the sun and gather with people on the beach.

🎠 Pegasus World Cup

The prestigious Pegasus World Cup returns to Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida on Saturday, January 25th, promising another spectacular day of world-class horse racing. This premier racing event has become South Florida's most glamorous sporting spectacle, drawing celebrities, and socialites who gather under the warm Florida sun to witness some of the finest thoroughbreds compete for one of horse racing's most coveted prizes. Music by Black Coffee and Diplo.

In a promising development for our community's future, Miami Gardens' educational department has launched an innovative after-school coding program at the Betty T. Ferguson Center. The program is already showing impressive results, with young students like Evan Page diving into Python programming through educational gaming systems. "I'm just into coding. I'm also into science as well," Page shared, highlighting how naturally today's youth can adapt to technical education when given the opportunity.

We hope more schools can adopt this initiative and offer educational opportunities for kids in STEM area.

🚆 Brightline Bringing Back Commuter Passes

Relief for South Florida Commuters: Brightline Brings Back Popular Pass Program Thanks to newly secured federal funding, Brightline is reinstating its commuter pass program for frequent travelers throughout South Florida. The revival of this popular program comes as welcome news to daily commuters, who have been without this cost-saving option since its discontinuation several months ago.

🍝 New Italian Concept Opens

Chef Marco Giugliano, formerly of Doma in Wynwood, has opened an innovative Italian restaurant called Mano Libera in South Miami. The restaurant, which opened December 21, offers a unique "Italian omakase" experience that breaks away from traditional Italian restaurant offerings.

Located at 7201 SW 59th Ave., Mano Libera features a $120 per person chef's table experience where Giugliano creates customized multi-course meals for groups of four to eight guests. The two-hour feast includes shared appetizers, two pasta courses, a main dish, and family-style dessert.
